Hi there,
Nice to be here,
I have two boys, 3 and 5, they live in Vancouver with dad, I'm in the Maritimes (Halifax and New Brunswick). It's hard! But they're happy. My philosophy: would choose to have them with me, but would rather deal with pain than drag two happy healthy kids through a ten year court battle. Better to be friends with their father. Right. ????????

ten year court battle?? Are you sure?- It really shold not be your reason for leaving them be..
But I like the part about being friends with your ex. I think you want to focus on this, rather than the fact that you see him a s a bully. The more felexible you are, the more you are willing to work With the situation the more likely the situation will relax and might eventually truly work into a partnership in parenting, -which is what would be the ideal..
Generally I think boys need to se their dads more than girls,- s it sits kind of right with me that they get to see him a lot,- but dont ever think they dont want to see you,-
How are you keeping in touch with them?
